We guarantee that your ordered number of birds arrive alive, healthy, and true to breed. We often include extra chicks when possible, and these extras may help cover any loss that occurs during shipping.
If you experience a shortage or shipping loss, you can submit a loss claim through your online account for our team to review.
Report losses as soon as possible
Please report any shipping loss as soon as possible after your order arrives. Loss claims are submitted through your online account and are reviewed by our customer service team.
How to submit a shipping loss claim
You can easily report a shortage or shipping loss from your order page.
Start by logging in to your customer account on our website.
Once logged in, go to My Orders to view your order history.
Click on the specific order you need to report a loss or shortage for.
Click the orange LifeBuoy icon labeled for submitting a loss claim.
Completing the loss claim
The loss claim form will show the items on your order. To report a shortage, adjust the quantity received for each item.
Once submitted, the form will create a support ticket for our team to review. After we receive your claim, we will review the details and follow up with you.
Only one loss claim can be submitted per order, so please make sure the quantities entered are accurate before submitting.

After your loss claim is submitted, our customer service team will review the claim details.

Submitting the claim creates a support ticket so our team can follow up with you.
Extras May Be Included
We often include extra chicks when possible, and these extras may be considered when reviewing shortages.
